Black Hills IP uses the term “Cross-Off” to describe the act of de-docketing an action or task. Customers must be a “Cross- Off” customer in order for Black hills IP to de-docket an action or task. In some cases, Black Hills IP will de-docket an action or task even when a customer is not a “Cross-Off” customer. Black Hills IP will de-docket an action or task if dedocketing that action launches the subsequent due date. For example, the docketing system Foundation IP has set up the annuity activity to launch the subsequent annuity deadline once the current annuity activity is closed.
